Small guitar
Here is my latest guitar. Not many guitars this year (only 2), mostly mandolins or tenor guitars. This one is a small bodied guitar, short scale length (23.5inches) made mostly from native woods as per the customer's request. Top is King Billy Pine, back and sides Otway Blackwood, neck Blackwood, rosette Black Heart Sassafras, Blackwood bridge, Macassar Ebony fingerboard, Bindings are Indian Rosewood. This is the first 6 string guitar I have made with King Billy top. I am very impressed with the sound, best by far of that style of guitar, so it won't be the last. Now with the new owner who also seems to be even more impressed with the sound, so all good. Whether the sound is because of the wood combination or I am just getting better at making them I dunno, but probably likely bit of a combination of both.

That is lovely Peter. The King Billy has a very interesting and distinctive look to it - very different to any kind of spruce. Good to know that it sounds good as well as looking so nice.

Re: Small guitar
Hi, Very nice build, it's great when the customer likes the guitar better than you do.
