Kudos to AusClimate Control

Post by Allen » Tue Jan 03, 2017 5:16 pm

I know that some of you have been using AusClimate Dehumidifiers, and I want to give them a big thumbs up for excellent customer service.

I purchased a unit about 13 months ago, with them checking up on me a week or so after I received the unit, and going over how I was going to use it. Giving me tips etc. Punishing it is pretty much how I'd describe it's life in a closed up room in the tropics running 24/7. And it worked flawlessly up until last week.

Contacted them over the holidays, and they called back yesterday, as they knew it was a bit of a panic to get a solution.

Long story short, I was fully prepared to purchase a new one, but they said the units are pretty much bullet proof, and have only had a couple ever die, so are replacing the unit including shipping, even though they aren't actually rated for commercial / industrial use. Just want to keep their clients happy and spreading the word.

So if you are in the market for a dehumidifier. Check them out.

Hi Allen,
I am in the market for a dehumidifier and a recommendation from a ANZLF member carries a lot of weight with me. What model do you use and where and how have you got it installed. I'm thinking of building a small (2mtr x 2mtr) room within my workshop out of cool room sheet just as a timber store and glue up room and will be shopping for a dehumidifier soon.

cheers

Paul

Mine is the 20L model. I"m using the tank and dump it every day, as I like to have a visual of what's getting pulled out. You can hook it up to a hose and forget it if you like.

They said that the smaller model would do the trick, but this model has some more automation controls that would be handy, so I went with it.

I have it up off the floor on a shelf that places it mid way between floor and ceiling. Less dust up higher. The room is 2.4m square and about same high.

If you go to them for one, give them a call first to discuss your needs, and tell them you heard of them here. I went to them because I saw a review from one of our members somewhere on the web, and I'm more than happy I did.

Good people and good business's deserve all the promotion they can get.

+1

I've been smashing mine for the past 15 months 24/7

Just make sure you clean the filters regularly and should be all sweet!
