Is it better to screw and glue on a bridge?
And do you think it's going to affect the tone?

Railway sleeper spikes are always helpful if all else fails, does affect the tone a tad though

Rookie mistake of not pre-drilling for that screw on the left - would have stopped the cracking. Other than that - looks pretty sound

Somebody confiscate that guitar off it's owner. If that guitar was an animal they'd have the RSPCA knocking on their door...

any chance the owner is a punk rocker?
Actually, I think its a genuine attempt at modern art using faux guitar repair as the medium. In which case its awesome however I feel he/she has perhaps let himself/herself down by only having one odd bridge pin. Maybe they were going for an understated look. Cant wait to see what happened to the tuners...

I would add some more screws - but add them on the other side of the bridge.
Also, I hope that is hot hide glue - because as we all know, that makes everything OK.

Actually looks like a bush plumbers silicone joint, only not a neat, hasn't been smoothed out with the old wet finger.

I love how they just gave up on the screw on the right

Folks, this is nothing more (or less) than a mad scientist's experiment in adding bridge mass a la Trevor Gore.

Fools!! You have all missed the obvious fact that the screw on the right is for the missing whammy bar lever!!!
