Yes, I was amazed by the reckless misuse of this tool.
I found it when searching for an adequate response to an entry of a new member of a Spanish forum when he linked to a Youtube video showing a "fast way" for thicknessing guitar sides by first gluing them to an MDF board, then shoving the assembly through a thickness planer and in the end prying them loose from the MDF substrate, not without damaging them in the process.
