Sound board repair

Hi Guys,
Im in the process of repairing a Kiso suzuki six string with a lifted bridge.The bridge and strings have been left on in the raised state for some time and have warped the bridge area of the sound board.Can this been fix without removing the whole sound board.?

Potentially yes. You can use a bridge Dr but the guitar will sound 'different' to what it was...I am not going in to whether that is a good or a bad thing as that is open to opinion.

One USA manufacturer, Breedlove, installs them from new to prevent bridge roll.

Have you checked everything else. braces, Bridge plate Etc it's possible that whatever caused the bridge to lift ( like being left in a hot car) has caused another problem that is causing the soundboard to warp around that area.

I have seen something similar where a guitar was left in a car .. this caused the bridge to de laminate but also the bridge plate and X braces to a degree ...when everything cooled down and glue grabbed again everything was in the wrong position (under string tension ) and caused a warp in the soundboard

It just seems strange that when the string tension is removed that the soundboard stays warped if everything else is OK
