Tobias Copley Guitars
Hi all. My name is Toby Copley. I am new to this forum and hope to chat with you about all aspects of building great musical instruments.
My relative John Copley put me on to this forum. I hadn't met John until a couple of weeks ago and only discovered our relation a couple of years ago.
When I met John we had a great talk about all things building. I build mostly electric guitars and basses, while John makes Mandolins, Lap-steels, Ukuleles, Resonators and other Acoustic instruments. Needless to say, I was in awe when I saw his workshop and (more importantly) his instruments.
I am based in Perth, Western Australia and have been building, servicing and repairing all sorts of stringed instruments for over 10 years. I had been working in musical instrument retail stores and with respected guitar builders until I started my own business in July 2011.
I'm always up for a chat about guitars or other instruments, so feel free to hit me up.
Cheers.
p.s. I have some pics of my work in the Gallery section of this forum.

Re: Tobias Copley Guitars
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Toby for the first time on his recent trip to the east and he struck me as a fine young man, seeing his instruments I think he has a bright future and he has age on his side. I look forward to your contributions to this forum.
Merry Christmas to everyone and a bright and prosperous New Year
Cheers John
