National Folk Festival 2012
Here are some pictures of the music instrument makers display at the National Folk festival this year. Apologies to those I missed, or names I got wrong. This year was bigger and better than ever, with significantly more room and more makers.

Re: National Folk Festival 2012
Hey Peter, thank you for walking us through the exhibition of the festival!
Lots of beautiful instruments and a quite a few happy faces!
I liked those 6-string mandolins displayed at the table of Peter Coombe Mandolins!

Re: National Folk Festival 2012
Hi Peter, Thanks for posting this thread....Yes it was a really good few days although it wears you out talking to people, especially answering the question...."how long does it take you to make a guitar?" I wish I had a dollar for each time I was asked that!...
It was great to catch up with all the instrument makers after 12 months and see what everyone has been up to.
I had a special end to the festival because I had a sale in the last 1/2 hour. A young chap who came in with his girlfriend and really loved one of my Journeyman guitars...we did the sale and he payed via bank transfer on a smartphone...

Re: National Folk Festival 2012
Can't believe I missed that... again...
Well, I guess I have 12 months to organise myself and build some "spare" stock. I hope to see you there next year.
Thanks Peter for the in depth tour, also John. Very inspiring for those of us that could not make it.
Jeremy.
