How to ID Epiphone Gibson Les Paul?

Hi. One of my students bought me a guitar that he was given on the weekend by an aunt. Its a Korean made Gibson Les Paul with a serial number on the back of the head. Any idea where on the net I could ID this guitar for manufacture date and perhaps pedigree details?

There is a web site called Guitar dater project.It dates guitars by there serial number
It isn't the be all and end all,but I think for dating Epi's it's OK
