I am in the hunt for some acient kauri to build 2 tele style bodies 24x15x2" or caps 1/2" prefer 1 piece with character and blemishes , thankyou, go parra

I moved this thread to the main forum, where it's more likely to get some response, and we'd like to keep the Tone Wood section directly related to info on each species.

Hi Branchy , Good to see you get on board.I think the easiest place to start is with these guys http://www.ancientkauri.co.nz/
They appear to be the ones who sarted the craze and have all the big gear.This guy is cutting guitar sides at the moment.
