Taffy, she is an absolute beauty. I love the customized detail which has just the right amount of restraint for my taste. Especially the end grain inlay and the one on the heel cap. I bet the guy will be stoked! He won't swap it for another D-35 in a million years.
Please tell us more about how you did the acrylic rosette. It looks great.

Allen, I will post a bit of a run down on the soundhole rosette. The parlor guitar i'm working on at the moment had the brief that it had to have something blue on it, so I used the Acrylic material in its rosette, I think it looks cool. I'm not one for putting plastic on my guitars, but I hope what I have done is tasteful, and I'm not the first to do it.
In fact I'll include some other Rosettes I've used that are a bit different but are formed in the same way.
