In attempt to change the focus to something a little more reverent, I think the second one looks like the top/flame of a lit pentecostal candle. So there!!

My mom was a lefty, tortured by the nuns. The stories she told would put your eyebrows on the back of your head, or make you nod in sympathy. I can't say that I could match her physical corrective experiences, but after two years of being locked up with them, boarding school, I have a few stories. Its been a day or three and I still consider myself a recovering Catholic. As hard I try, some triggered reflexes I can't get away from.

Yes Ryan is my youngest. He is home after a year on his own. He attending uni part time and working as much as he can. When things get wrapped up with my acoustic we have plans on starting an electric for him.

Good on you Bob.

I thought I had walked completely away without issue until I attend a funeral. Mass started and so did the responses. If I could have stepped outside of myself and looked and gaped at myself I would have. I was amazed/appalled at how automatically the responses just tumbled out of my mouth without thought. It had been almost twenty years since my last mass, oddly it was also a funeral, and yet you would never know that more than a week had passed since I had last attended mass.

I've always held that it's a parental obligation to be an embarrassment.

Oh no you don't sister Lillian.... :D  I started this thread so you folks could make an ass out of yourselves - I've already been an ass for a very long time.... :D

I will add though that for Mac users where the mouse pointer changes to a little hand with one extended finger clicking on the Sassafras pic kind of reminded me of a prostate exam.....

Anyway I see nothing wrong with seeing images in wood. After all many of us hear voices from wood already.... :D

One of my careers was as a cabinet maker building kitchens and the like. On one job I did some ash veneer plywood paneling between the counters and upper cabinets, and there were a couple of panels of...yes, "girl wood", though we called it a synonym for cat...wood. The client was a gynecologist, and he asked that we change the panels, saying, "I look at that all day long; I don't need it in my kitchen..."

:lmao :lmao :lmao Yeah I can see how the poor guy wants to look at something else in his kitchen. Along these lines a Proctologist probably wouldn't select knotty pine to panel their recreation room.... :D

Well IMHO there was value in this thread... Lillian has now coined the term "girl wood" which is likely to be used again in the future.

Thanks Lillian!!!
