Australian Luthier Supplies

The Vendors and Suppliers Forum is where members are encouraged to post up details of suppliers they have used and had a good experience with. If you have had a bad experience with a vendor then please don't post details of same in this forum as we have no desire to end up being the subject of legal action from a disgruntled supplier...or a member. If you have had an exceptionally bad experience with a supplier then PM or email one of the admins. Note that this forum is not intended as a list of ANZLF sanctioned suppliers...we used to have a forum along these lines but after admins were forced to go into bat to help members resolve issues with a couple of vendors we removed the forum.

Australian Luthier Supplies

Post by kiwigeo » Tue Jun 27, 2023 5:29 pm

Last week I ordered some 1/4" thick Tusq saddle blanks from Australian Luthier Supplies and got sent the wrong thickness blanks.

I emailed them and let them know about the error and that I'd keep the thinner blanks and re-order the correct ones. I got an email back from Sean at ALS informing me he'd personally check the order this time around and offered me a $30 gift certificate. Pretty happy with the service.

Hi, last week I also received an incorrect order of purfling, their response was, we'll send you the correct items, and if I can use the incorrect purfling keep it free of charge. Happy customer.
