Dual purpose use

Post by chappy » Mon Apr 28, 2014 3:41 pm

G'day,

Just put down another home brew and the temperature has started dropping which is not a good thing.

The home brew forums talk about heat belts, control units and all sorts of wonderful things to keep the brew fermenting.

After thinking about it, I had a "der" moment and fitted my side bender silicone blanket to the vessel. Dial up the temperature and away we go. Can't bend anything for another week though which is a small price to pay.

Cheers

Luthierie saves brewery! 8)

From now on your heat resources will require a well ahead planned schedule! (At least until you get another heat blanket and controller).
