came across your site whilst perusing tone woods and where to acquire them from... i have spent an enjoyable afternoon reading a variety of postings. Great stuff and a wealth of knowledge.
still in the planning stages of my workshop before embarking on the adventure of making guitars and am glad to have found a resource rich site....

Thanks All for the welcome... a little bit of background on me

cabinet maker for around 15 years and spent most of that time either machining timber or spraying it along with the usual installation of kitchens and stuff
also 8 years as a shoe repairer in a lovely little suburb in melbourne called pakenham
currently working again as a machinist where i is able to get my grubby hands on assorted timber and on finding you guys here....and buying a certain book (or two) has encouraged me to at least steer myself in the direction of breathing in dust at home as well as work...
again many thanks for the welcome
