Solid neck through

Post by Mr K » Sun Oct 29, 2023 9:31 am

Another one from me, not sure what inspired this one but I'm happy with the result.
The body halves are laminated over a curved mould and joined to the neck on an angle to form the top curve.
Specs
25"scale 24 jumbo SS frets 12"radius
Bridge is ABM roller
Tuners are Schaller M6 mini top locking
Weight is 2.49 kg
Pu's are Lollar goldfoils chrome, simple three way rotary schaller switch. CF control cover
Woods are Neck is laminated Afrormosia with bleached ash veneer
Body is chequered Blackwood and Maple top, Afrormosia, Redwood, Blackwood with ash veneer between layers.

And a few finished Pics.

Hi, wow a fantastic-looking guitar, I love the detail. Certainly an eye-catcher that one.

Cheers Martin and Taffy, was a fairly quick build but presented a few challenges along the way.

Clean as a whistle, and very individual!
Nice job
