Pricilla TD18…
The request for this guitar came via a mate of mine who attended the Top Half Folk Festival in the NT in the early 1980’s. It came written on the inside of a cigarette packet. Along with the request was a long list of inlays and adornments that the customer wanted on the guitar.
I thought that it would have made the guitar look “tacky” to include them all, so I advised the customer of what I was happy to include, and luckily she agreed.
I tried to remove the tackiness by including her bunny rabbit as the Hare, her bird as a Wedgetail Eagle, her Butterfly as a butterfly, and her initials as an engraving on real silver on the heal cap.
Timbers used are EI Rosewood, Sitka spruce, Honduras Mahogany neck, and Ebony fingerboard.
The customer returned the guitar some years later for repair as it was found floating in its case in flood waters. That was a back-and-top-off repair.
Thanks for looking.

Not tacky - just beautifully decorated. The rosewood looks sensational.
