Arch top based on the Benedetto book with a paired 18w tmb.
I finished this a few months ago and have been trying to get some better photos. Failed at that, but thought I would share what I have.
Archie is Qld white cedar top with monkey pod back and sides.
Cooktown ironwood fret board, pick guard, bridge and tail with maple inserts.
Volume and tone wheels are hiding under the pick guard.
Amp is a kit build in a blackwood case. Quilted maple front panels with jarrah inlay. Speakers are Jensons.
I don't have any sound samples to post
Overall I'm quite happy with how it has turned out - Now I just have to learn to play it.

Hi RodC,
Great job!
A few questions, if I may:
1) What pickup is in/on the archtop?;
2) Is the amp based on a Marshall 18 watt TMB;
3) Where/who is the amp kit from?;
4) Are they Jensen 10" speakers?
Thanks,
GregL.

Hi Greg:
The pickup is Kent Armstrong Suspended Jazz Humbucker from Stewmac.
The amp is based on a Marshall 18w tmb. I got the kit from
https://www.evatco.com.au/.
I can't remember off the top of my head the exact spec for the Jensons, but they are 10" and 8 ohm. I got them on the recommendation from the guys at evatco as being appropriate for the 18w tmb kit.
I should mention that I got the face plate for the amp CNC'ed by a mate as I didn't like the plastic one that came with the kit, so I made a silver ash replacement. He took the existing one and replicated it for me.

That looks great Rod. Well done. AT's always look so impressive and a hill too far for my ability.

Very nice Rod thank you for sharing.
I bet the amp have plenty of stick.
I have a 18 watt Vox voiced amp and a 11 watt Vibrolux copy and they are both damn loud.
The tube sound is wonderful.
Well done, beautiful workmanship.
Cheers
Alan

Cheers Jim,
It's 25' treble side and 25 1/2' bass side. I didn't want to go too extreme with it.
To me it feels really natural and nice. I wouldn't call myself a player though, so I'm keen to get an actual guitarist
or 2 to try it out and let me know what they think.
