That's turning Luthiery into art.
That guitar is a work of art. I wish I had half your skill.
Great work.
Don.

Hi Rod.
Lovely guitar. The blue white blue purfling. Is it died timber or fibre and
did you make it yourself or purchase it from a supplier?

It’s dyed timber Bruce, I got it from Gurian instruments along with a heap of other purfling about 8 years back, with custom orders you have to buy a minimum quantity they set.

Beautiful work Rod. It reminds me of Scott Chinery’s Blue Guitars project, which I saw at the Smithsonian Institute a few years ago.

Your guitar would fit right into that company (D’Aquisto, Benedetto, Manzer, Monteleone)

Thanks Mark, my first guitar was much the same pattern as this one and i was following Benedetto's book, that was twelve years ago i've changed a few methods and details along the way but basically the Benedetto D'Aquisto style is a proven formula.
Cheers
Rod.
