Let me introduce you to Madeleine.

Taffy, she is an absolute beauty. I love the customized detail which has just the right amount of restraint for my taste. Especially the end grain inlay and the one on the heel cap. I bet the guy will be stoked! He won't swap it for another D-35 in a million years.
Please tell us more about how you did the acrylic rosette. It looks great.
Cheers
Mark

You always inspire Taffy. Details are spot on. And I really like the rosette as well. If you have photos on how you did it, I'm sure that lots of folks will be interested.

Beautiful guitar, you don't often see a 14 fret slot-head, I love it! Beautiful rosette and I love what you did with the end graft.

All class once again Taffy. As Joe siad you don't see many slotted headstock dreadnaughts around. I think Madeleine will make someone very happy.
Cheers

Taffy my friend this guitar is going to absolutely thrill it's new human!!! It's beautiful in all respects and IMHO leaves the traditional D-35's in the dust.
Madeleine is outstanding!!!

Another beauty, Taffy! With the materials you used, this one really looks its Aussie roots. I think 4-piece backs look better than 3-piece backs, and yours is great!

Thank you all for your comments.
Allen, I will post a bit of a run down on the soundhole rosette. The parlor guitar i'm working on at the moment had the brief that it had to have something blue on it, so I used the Acrylic material in its rosette, I think it looks cool. I'm not one for putting plastic on my guitars, but I hope what I have done is tasteful, and I'm not the first to do it.
In fact I'll include some other Rosettes I've used that are a bit different but are formed in the same way.

Chokka block with fine bound accoutrements, Taff.
Eye candy all over. I'm sure she plays as great as she looks too.
I really dig the acrylic material in the rosette.
cheers, Stu
