Wow, thats one fine looking guitar, everything just comes together right. I needed that bit of inspiration as the guitar I'm building now just will not co-opporate, one problem after another. I've just left the thing as I just dinged it on a shelf corner and had to do a drop fill repair in the finish.
But I feel better now. Sorry I'm in so late, thanks for showing.

Hey Taff, no problems mate. Just glad you chimed in.
I hear you about problems.
In fact this guitar fought me a lot.
The sides are slabbed, and they did NOT want to bend.
Cupped and rippled quite badly, and leveling those things was a chore.
When working someone else's wood--and it's not cooperating--can be a
real tense experience.

Steve,
Good thing it got resurrected, because somehow this one had flown in under the radar.
Comments:
1.) You're banned! It is not fair to display guitars built by robotic CNC machines using nano-lasers, on a hand-builders forum!
2.) Please post the ugliest (or least beautiful) guitar you have ever built. I need to see that you are mortal!

Thanks again, fellas!
Now for Dennis:
Steve
(In the interest of full disclosure, I should say that I didn't build this guitar.)

See, you'll have to keep digging in your own old photo albums. Until you show me an ugly guitar that you built, I'm gonna insist it never happened.Stephen Kinnaird wrote:Thanks again, fellas!
