Blackwood 12 String
Just finished this and am putting it the mail tomorrow for Greg Luker.
It's all Blackwood with a Mulga fingerboard and Gotoh 510 tuners plus a K&K 12 string pure pickup. That's a Cedar Creek custom case made for this instrument which is a new version of our barge-arse (small jumbo) series.
Never done a Blackwood topped 12 string before. It's quite bright, thus the ebony bridge to try and tame the top end a little, and very loud. It should settle down being a very nice sounding instrument with a little playing.
A couple of very good players here in Geelong have taken it for a test run and they loved it.
Thanks for looking.

Nothing like a well built 12 banger....this baby looks very elegant.
How did you go sorting out compensation?

Each string is individually compensated Martin.
Which makes it a bugger of a bridge saddle to get a nice finish on.

Nice looking guitar Bob.
Interesting with the hardwood sound board and the rope perflings look a treat.
You must just about be up to your 100th by now or are you passed it?
Cheers Maurice

2.8mm Paul.
I also increased the size of the lattice bracing in the lower bout to 6mm x 4mm (usually 5x3)
