RIP Bob Cefalu

Post by Allen » Sun Aug 04, 2024 6:40 am

Many of us have been purchasing timber from Bob (RC Tonewoods) for decades.

He had supported and sponsored this forum from it's beginning. I still have a Cocobolo and German Spruce guitar set he donated as an fundraising auction to help with costs of running the forum.

Everything I bought from Bob was great quality, and backed up with really good service and communication. I never met him in person but it is clear that he was universally revered. I note that one of his sons is continuing the business, although at smaller scale.

RIP Bob.

Bob Cefalu was an active founder of the ANZLF when it was first founded and gave our members some good deals. I have a pile of his wood buried in the tonewood vault.

Bob and Pete were always good to deal with, sad news for sure. RIP Bob.

RIP Bob, I also had many dealings with RC Tonewoods and he was always a very generous person with his time and advice not to mention some great deals. Very sad to hear.
