Introduction and request to participate
Hey howdy. It seems that you guys are having all of the fun over here. I'm actually from the northern hemisphere, but I was wondering if you all might let me hang out anyway. I see there's some other Northern Hemispherians here as well, but I thought I should ask. Perhaps they are actually Australian or New Zealand residents living abroad, although I'm pretty sure Hesh isn't. Anyway, if it helps, I have the following credentials:
1) I have a friend from New Zealand.
B) I thoroughly enjoy throwing shrimp on the barbie
3) I have a friend whose parents live in Australia
4) I met a Kiwi on a bus in Mexico one time
V) I am able to locate both countries on a map in under a minute
6) I love Flight of the Conchords more than you can imagine
Oh by the way, I am called Mike Snider. Some of you may know me from the OLF. I live in Denver, Colorado, USA with my lovely wife, Sarah.
Thank you for your time. I will await your response before engaging in further participation.

Hang on guys this bloke has trouble with his 2's and 5's (see above). For some reason he replaces his 2's and 5's with the letters B and V.snidermike wrote:

He's obviously a CIA operative and its some of covert top secret code.
Lets stick him on probation until we can verify who he really is.

Hey Mike
What Mike fails to tell our friends Down Under it that he build some of the most fantastic electric and accoustic guitars you will ever see. His workmanship is the envy of our local school, and without a doubt he is one of the most prolific builders too! Mike is an instructor at the Red Rocks Community College where he heads up the electric guitar building program. He has many repeat students and his classes are some of the first to fill.
It's always a pleasure to work in the shop with him as he certainly has an excellent answer to all of my stupid questions, and he has this inname sense of humor and ability to provide sounds effects for what a guitar process should sound like.
Mike, post photos of your work and let our Aussie and Kiwi friends drool! They will not be disappointed.

Well, let's see, Sebastiaan: I can certainly chunda, though I usually don't. I'm tempted to say that I can chunda down unda, but that seems silly.
I'll choose VB. After all, it "has a tradition of rewarding hard work and hard play." I like rewards. And I like hard play. I can't say that I've figured out what a night in the sack with Kylie involves yet.
The Deputy Prime Minister is Julia Gillard. Is she a good sort? Depends if you're a socialist or not. She's also from Wales. I have heard she can chunda though....
I build 'lectrics and steel strings. More electrics, but I'd like to be building more 'coustics. Pikkes to follow.
How'd I do?
Gregory, thank you for the kind words.
Dom, the answers are yes.
Thanks for the welcoming.

I can vouch for this bloke named Mike. He walked into one of my classes at Red Rocks College in Colorado a few years ago and has done such excellent work that I asked him to be my teaching assistant. He then started teaching the electric guitar building class. His classes are very popular. We just launched a DVD together on electric guitar building and we are working on an advanced electric DVD as we speak. The model will be similar to the blue guitar in his pictures he posted.
I say we keep him around but who am I to say? I feel like an immigrant myself not being from down under. I do ship quite a few of my DVD's to Australia though.
