For some reason this did not post corectly. What I wanted to say was...

This week I found a soprano ukulele neck blank for $1 score.
Does anyone know where I can find a fretboard blank in Auckland New Zealand and what tools etc I need.

I have several tins and wooden boxes I can use to make a ukulele with the neck.
Just a simple musician who plays for fun and enjoymet here.

If youre serious about building a uke and it's your first build then I'd strongly recommend getting a hold of this book. The website also has sets of plans. Ive used both and found them of excellent quality. https://hanalimastore.com/products/hana ... ion-manual

As for tonewood suppliers in NZ....the matter was discussed here: viewtopic.php?t=6786. Some of our NZ members can probably provide you with assistance on this one.
