Hi I have a slightly thick sheet of clear aceate think old ohp sheet. I want to make a pick guard out of it what glue would you recomend. I want to be able to see the finish.
Ukulele specks are paint with several layers od diy wipe on poli (varnish, linseed oil terps mix) I found from this site. To a mate finish.
The intended use of the pick guard will be more to give a shiny smooth finish to apply my pickup. I have a Myers Gooseneck pickup etch attaches to the body of a guitar with a suction cup.
See The Grip with Flexible Micro-Gooseneck Myers Pickups "The Grip" Series
Any ideas would help thanks

Re: pick guard glue.
I have been away and have just re connected with the forum. I'll answer you! I would get an Allparts self adhesive clear pickguard and cut it to size. You might need to clean the surface of the instrument with methylated spirit or Naptha to remove any oiliness in that area first. Naptha will remove the Allparts pickguard if you need to.
