Hey all,
Just spraying a solid black on a guitar this morning and low and behold...i have encounered blushing for the first time :/
Im was pretty sure it was going to happen because its been raining and its icy cold. As far as I know thats what causes blushing yes?
Anyhoo is there any way of fixing it without sanding it all off? I'm using Miritone 3220 gloss

Re: blushing with 3220
Spray a light coat of thinners over the blushed area whilst its still fresh, I use an airbrush, it softens it enough to allow the moisture to escape, having same issues over here in Perth

Always add extra slow solvent to the mix. No matter what the temp or humidity.
5% does the trick. Never more than 10%
Your finishes will come out worlds better because the lacquer will flow better, and it stops blushing by keeping the surface film from skinning over so quick.

Yes. It's bloody expensive, but you only need a little so it goes a long way.

Mirosol 1218 ultra-slow thinner is what I use.
