Sheds in Melbourne

Hi all

I have started a small guitar building business and presently I don't have a space where I can work and I'm wondering whether anyone has a shed/workshop that I could potentially use for a couple of days a week I am happy to come to some financial agreement and I keen to help out with builds if you need any help I live in the Heidelberg area but i am willing to travel

Its not just space, but machinery, and tools, and its those things that really cost the money and can get broken easily

Hey Hamish there's a pretty good place about a 20 minute drive from Heidelberg in Northcote/Thornbury called: Pop & Scott:
$25 p/h, $150 a day, $600 a month. They have everything basic you'd need except a drum sander (jointers, bandsaws, thicknessers). The guy Scott is an electrician and has created a really nice space. As it is a communal space I don't know how often things are sharpened or how accurately the machines are set up. Humidity could be an issue though.

Alternatively there is also Alastair Boell at Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking (Box Hill)
That would set you back around $60 + GST an hour from memory but you'd have to get in contact to see what the rates are. I've done some resawing there and the facilities were amazing.
