bridge deflection gizmo

Post by weslewis » Fri Nov 16, 2012 2:25 pm

Trying to avoid math as much as possible I rigged this up tonight to check the deflection on my OLF challenge build ..works pretty good, I drew up the scale on my cad program and is held in place by a telescoping magnetic pick up tool and attached to a cheap harbor freight dial indicator base, the pointer is a alligator clip with a piece of music wire soldered in...right at 2 degrees deflection per Trevor's guidelines!!!
