Nick, I just cut out a circle from some promotional materials ( plenty of free paper! ) and using masking tapes to cover up the hole.

Hi Nick, My mango wood doesn't gives me any problem. I bought some from a vendor from Indonesia and its smelly and oily to the core. Someone bought a piece of land and there was a mango tree ( 180 years ) 3 generations , and he bulldozered everything to the ground and i was fortunate to savage half ...

Here's some shots taken before spraying the finishing of a special build for the coming Healdsburg Guitar Festival.......

Merbau is a very good wood and using it for fretboard is much better than many rosewood . you are not going to play your guitar in the rain so there is nothing to worry about the sap. I have used it for my guitars and i can tell its as good as any rosewood if not better.

I attended a talk by a great company CEO and he said 60% of the price tag goes to marketing. so if their guitars are priced at 10K, 60% goes to that fat guy behind the desk...... so if a luthier sell his guitar for 4K that means he's got to do everything from cutting ( maybe ) to making the guitar c...
