As I have heard Stewmac bought a lot of LMI’s inventory including intellectual property. I’m happy to see an American company doing this instead of it just fading away.

I just picked up a used Performax 16 32 plus last week. The feed belt is missing 1/3 from the belt drive motor side. I’ve ordered a replacement off Amazon. I wish I had seen this thread before I picked the $34 belt. I’ll just have to wait and see how true it is. The machine was not well cared for. I...

Yes, the bandsaw could certainly take the entire arm. Who else cuts a piece of wood on the top of a guitar with a chisel? Didn’t see any thicknessing of the plates, but assume he did it with a fingernail file.
