by brace sensor i was referring to that great big hunk of metal that ran the length of the sound board. now its a smaller sensor atached to a brace somewhere

I buy my strings over the counter as i like the face to face aspect of my local music store
plus i always get a discount.
I could also prolly get them from work but they don't use d'addario phos bronze which i has used for the last however long i have been playing for

i think it would depend on what the original finish is atm. most painted guitars have a clear coat over the paint. if you go with the danish oil test it somewhere else first. or you could try the drop fill idea that i saw in a post recently. Hopefully some of the other more knowledgeable blokes on h...

my advice is never EVER use a table saw without a riving knife. personal experience about ten years ago... my boss had taken the knife off to kerf some mdf for a job as the knife sat higher than the blade and didn't put it back on. the following day i saw the knife wasn't in but used the saw anyway ...
