Fantastic video, thanks for compiling and sharing.

Re: Sprayers in Australia and NZ
I've also been wondering about sprayers - Martin Taylor knows someone up the Central Coast who does ridiculously beautiful nitro jobs.
I need a black neck done on a Stauffer copy.. was thinking of taking it to an auto spray place.

I had a play on this beauty before Martin had it finished, it's a lovely instrument. You certainly did honour to the old fella Martin.
Interested to listen to it now!

I'd be tempted to say a Mirecourt guitar c. 1850.
But it's an Antonio de Torres, isn't it?

Hi Kim,
All cellists, violinists, and violists, lefties or righties, play with the bow in their right hand. Impossible to work in an orchestra if not!

Workshop is under 2 inches of water, even after I sandbagged the bloody thing a few weeks ago.
Floor needed a mop I suppose

Pete That's what I'm using at the moment! Too chicken to have a go at the leopardwood yet... It's got some lovely subtle figure ...

Re: Another Macrocarpa (floorboard) Build
Nice one Bruce.
I'm also building a macro at the moment with a red cedar neck - the stuff is so light! Did you CF reinforce it or use a truss?
I think we should all build a macro guitar to raise awareness for this beautiful timber.

Re: Can you use hardwood for bracing?
Well, for science you should really make two instruments with the alternative brace timbers and compare the results... On the other hand, will it be too heavy and dampen the vibration and I should stick to a lighter wood like the basswood or Bunya pine? Yes. I think the theory is that the braces are...
